Our Projects

Wardale Dog Park

Using funds gifted by the Wardale Estate, Perham Rotary Club spearheaded the creation of the Wardale Dog Park conveniently located by the bike path surrounding Arvig Park. The dog park is a place to let dogs run free from a leash and play with other dogs. The park includes fencing to keep pets in, shelter, picnic tables, and a water fountain for humans and dogs. 

St. Henry's School Playground

Perham Area Foundation contributed funds to assist St. Henry’s School in updating playground equipment. 

Perham Schools Electronic Signs

Perham High School and Prairie Wind Middle School collected funds for these electronic signs to be placed on the roadside. They display announcements and other school information. 

Pioneer Village Signage

Perham Area Foundation contributed funds for signage at the Perham Pioneer Village. 

Waves of Discovery

Located on the east side of Photo Magic, the mural was created with a medium of carved concrete and includes elements of agates, fossils fused glass, and mosaics. Designed to encourage interaction among viewers, there are over 50 items hidden among the panels of the mural to seek and find.

St. Paul's School Playground

Perham Area Foundation contributed funds to assist St. Paul’s School in updating playground equipment.

Tuffy's Stadium at Al Krueger Field

The community rallied together to replace the grandstands at Al Krueger Field. Perham Area Foundation was proud to contribute funds to the project. 

Caring Hearts Rescue

As part of the Wardale Fund mission, Perham Area Foundation contributes to operating funds for Caring Hearts Rescue. The organization is dedicated to caring for and rehoming rescued animals in the Perham area. 

Perham Sportsman's Club

We contributed to the Perham Sportsman’s Club and their ongoing efforts to be “all things to all sportsmen.” 

Heart of the Lakes Elementary Playground

Perham Area Foundation contributed funds to assist Heart of the Lakes Elementary school in updating playground equipment.

Friends of the Library

Perham Area Foundation provided start-up funding for the Friends of the Perham Area Public Library. Now, the organization is a volunteer, charitable organization that believes a vibrant library system is the heart and soul of a successful community.

Livestock Buliding

Located on the East Otter Tail County Fairgrounds, the new cattle barn holds more than 150 head of cattle and focuses on educating consumers about the history of agriculture.
